Welcome to JD Transcription Services. By accessing or using our transcription and related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (TOS). Please review them carefully.

1. Services Provided

JD Transcription Services provides professional transcription, court reporting, and document services. The exact scope of services will be defined in the individual Service Agreement or Order Confirmation.

2. Client Responsibilities

Content Legality: The client warrants that they have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit the audio/video files and that the content does not violate any local, state, or federal laws.
Accuracy: While we strive for 99%+ accuracy, the client acknowledges that audio quality, background noise, and speech clarity can affect transcription accuracy.
Confidentiality: The client is responsible for redacting or removing any highly sensitive information from files before submission, unless a specific Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been signed.

3. Payment and Fees

Fees are based on the service type, turnaround time, and audio duration (or page count, where applicable). All fees are due as specified in the Order Confirmation. Failure to pay may result in the suspension of services or non-delivery of final documents.

4. Revisions and Refunds

We offer a free revision period (typically 7 days) to correct any transcription errors made by our team. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and are generally not provided for work that meets the agreed-upon accuracy standard.

5. Limitation of Liability

JD Transcription Services, its contractors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from the use of our services.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the TOS.
